Four Barn Owls, hand painted on four fluffy white feathers. This is a very special piece which started life as an experiment – A true collector’s special!

Each feather in this painting depicts an image of the same beautiful Barn Owl perched on a post – the difference between them is that each feather has been ‘painted’ using a different medium/approach.  The first, and most unusual for me is sketched in graphite. The second feather is sketched using coloured pencils. The third and fourth were both painted in my usual acrylic paint – the third in a much freer, painterly style than the fourth which is finished to my usual level of detail. Mounted on a hand painted background to compliment the beautiful plumage of the birds, and framed in a made-to-measure black box frame. Can be wall hung or free standing (fixings supplied).
